Yep, further proves that Bulbasaur is the canon starter.

Hes only the cannon starter in the lets go ganes and the pokemon adventures manga. Everywhere else it is charizard.
>ignoring every Red/Green artworks of Red and Bulbasaur (seen above)
>Ignoring Pokemon Generations where it showed Red with Bulbasaur (seen above)
>Red had Charmander only in Origins and one obscure and short manga.
>Charmander is the canon starter lol
wow, I haven’t seen such a poor attempt of denial, but here’s more evidence

Convinced yet?

Actually upon further inspection pikachu is the canon starter, because in every game after gen 1 he has all three kanto starters, plus pikachu, (not riachu because you cant evolve pikachu in yellow where you also get bulbasour, charmander, and squirtle) snorlax because he is a unit, and lapras for surfing.
So actually pokemon yellow has the cannon red.
Pokemon Yellow is based on the Ash Ketchum anime which is not canon to the games.
Also, Pokemon Origins, Manga, Generations all skipped Yellow events and no media ever adapted Yellow events.
Also #2, Red caught Pikachu using Bulbasaur in the manga and Generations and he had both Pokemon in Red/Green artworks and the guidebook but not the other starters.
Also #3, Blue never used an Eeveelution in any game except Yellow (and the anime). If Red got Pikachu and Blue got Eevee, then we would have seen Blue using an Eeveelution in later games which he never did.

A short manga about a cute assassin from Toshiya Wakabayashi, mangaka of Tsurezure Children
He tried posting it on reddit but couldn’t figure out how to so he just copied someone else’s post

I will protect this man with my life.
Another thing

He actually redrew one of the panels since the original animal pun couldn’t translate

Great news everyone! Part 2 is finally in English
